The Charles J. Prescott Elementary School proudly serves a diverse community of 250 students and their families ranging from first through fifth grade. Located approximately 25 miles southwest of Boston, the Charles J. Prescott School is situated perfectly to take advantage of the resources that both the city and local suburban communities offer. The collaboration between families and the faculty is a vital element of the success of the school and provides a value added to our students education by helping to supplement our student experience with enrichment and hands on experiences.

Teachers work diligently to bring new and innovative ideas to their classroom each and every day. Through the leveraging of tools like Google Classroom, teachers are able to push critical dialogue among students, facilitate meaningful collaboration and share ideas amongst classrooms. On a routine basis, teachers gather in professional learning communities to evaluate their effectiveness and improve their instructional delivery. This oftentimes includes conducting instructional rounds with school leaders or examining high quality resources for students to utilize for projects. By engaging in data driven and student focused conversations on a routine basis, the staff at the Charles J. Prescott have been able to shrink the achievement gap and provide all students with the education they deserve.
