Mohawk Trails Elementary School - Carmel, IN

We use technology to engage our learners.

We use technology to engage our learners.

Mohawk Trails Elementary is a proud part of Carmel Clay Schools, located in Carmel, Indiana. Our school serves almost 600 students and is nestled in a tightly knit neighborhood setting. Our staff and students work together as a school family to support one another in our learning each day.

We are grateful to have terrific community involvement including volunteers from our parents to community members who come into our school and are involved in our students' education both during and after school. We offer many clubs ranging from Running Club, Green Team, Coding, Robotics, Space Club, Cooking, Business Club, and many more.

Academic and social-emotional development are at the core of every initiative at Mohawk Trails. Our students consistently rank among the top 10% of Indiana students in annual standardized testing and are challenged daily by highly qualified staff and with the latest technology through the best practice teaching of our Indiana Academic Standards. Our social emotional learning work is centered on our belief in creating routines and rituals that promote growing and celebrating the whole child. Teachers and specialists focus on building strong relationships that empower students to build their own social awareness, self-regulation, and emotional management. This provides students with the optimal environment in which to grow and learn.
