Students at Mater East Middle excited for the new school year!

Mater Academy East Middle provides a safe and supportive environment that fosters learning and achievement through equal opportunity for all students from diverse backgrounds. We take pride in our enthusiasm, commitment, and attention to educating the whole child. At Mater East Middle, we set high expectations for each of our students through a focus on socio-emotional health and a rigorous academic program. The staff works arduously to maintain a caring and positive learning environment created by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community members. All stakeholders work together as a family in promoting student growth and celebrating victories through the face of adversity.

To ensure that students are given the highest quality of education, data is used to drive instructional decision-making which allows teachers to identify areas of improvement and plan lessons that cater to the needs our our students. Our mission is embodied in the instruction delivered on a daily basis. Students work collaboratively to solve real-world issues and use critical thinking skills to develop meaningful solutions. The school's commitment to student success has allowed us to close the achievement gap and help our students to become well-rounded and productive members of society.
