Alhambra Traditional School Eagles in our new gymnasium

Alhambra Traditional School Eagles in our new gymnasium

Alhambra Traditional School is unique in that it was founded by a committed group of parents in 1983 who envisioned an alternate public school based on a traditional model. The ATS program was founded on the principle that parents and staff work together as partners to provide an education that encourages students to pursue academic excellence to the best of their abilities. While maintaining the highest of academic standards, ATS also supports and develops the whole child. As part of the Alhambra Elementary School District, we promote the 4 A's which are: Academics, Athletics, Arts, and Activities.

With our campus located in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Alhambra Traditional School draws upon families from all across the metro area. As a result, we have a rich and diverse student body composed of many ethnicities and backgrounds. We believe that all students can become whatever their hearts desire, and we have a proven track record of success stretching over several decades now. It is a source of pride that we continue to defy the odds in terms of student achievement year after year.

Last year, ATS moved to our new location. This has afforded us the opportunity to welcome more students into our school. A spacious media center, beautiful multi-purpose room, and sparkling new gymnasium have been welcome additions giving our students further opportunities to learn new skills and demonstrate their talents.

ATS is the best alternative. We have a tradition of excellence. We are the ATS Eagles!
