Gibraltar Elementary School takes great pride in offering our students enriched learning experiences in the arts, academics, activities, and athletics. We are committed to providing learning experiences that engage the minds of our students, empower them in their learning and guide them to achieve excellence.

We realize that our community members have numerous strengths that can benefit our students and the quality of learning experiences available in our school. Community involvement not only draws on an extensive network of experiences and resources, it also helps our students make connections between what they learn in the classroom and their experiences outside of school.

Being a rural school, Gibraltar Elementary relies on local businesses and supporting agencies to strengthen our curriculum by providing access to unique learning opportunities in the arts, academics, activities, and athletics often only found in larger schools. The strong relationship with a local non-profit parent group, "Friends of Gibraltar" or FOG, builds connections with various local groups and provides opportunities for students to experience arts, science, theater, and possible future careers.

FOG supports classroom learning by providing experiential education, school enrichment, and community involvement. By annually funding a project coordinator position, FOG is able to focus community fundraising to fully implement unique learning experiences for Gibraltar students, opening doors for each and every student, no matter their income level or ability.
