Saint Bede School, located in Ingleside, Illinois, has a rich history dedicated to embracing the needs of the community in the Chain O' Lakes area. Presently, Saint Bede draws its enrollment from twelve zip codes across two states. Students represent multiple ethnicities, varying socioeconomic statuses and an array of faith denominations. The school exists to support the family and community and to provide all children an opportunity for an exceptional academic experience, which includes social and emotional growth, values, tradition, and faith. Students are challenged to be moral, civic-minded, responsible and educated citizens. This is achieved through the rigorous academic expectations and also extracurricular activities.

Saint Bede School has a large athletics program, student council, and clubs in drama, cooking, art, and choir. Students participate in various fundraisers for charity and give freely of their time for service projects including Feed My Starving Children and Illinois Food Bank. Those in grades 5th - 8th utilize 1:1 Chromebooks, and all students have access to MacBooks in the lab. Technology is incorporated in all grades across all subject areas. These activities and procedures have all culminated into a tightly-woven, caring community of school families and local residents that serves as a beacon in the Chain O' Lakes region.
