Colliers Primary School is a West Virginia School of Excellence, a Title I Distinguished School and most recently, one of only 45 schools in West Virginia to receive the grade of "A" in West Virginia's A-F Accountability System.

Colliers Primary is a small rural school in the northern panhandle of West Virginia and serves 153 students in grades K-4. The teachers have set high expectations for all students and work diligently to enhance instruction while providing materials that ensure student success. The school holds an assembly each Monday to recognize students for individual achievements both in and out of the school environment. Colliers Primary strives to provide an optimum 21st Century learning environment to our students in a safe and secure setting.

Upon entering Colliers Primary, it is easy to feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere of our school. Our school is proud to serve as the center of the community where all stakeholders work together to increase student achievement. We utilize an "open-door" policy with our stakeholders and encourage them to be active participants in the school's activities and functions.

Colliers Primary believes in the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child," and understands that for a school to be successful, community involvement is essential. Colliers Primary School is the epitome of a "Community School," where the school and its stakeholders demonstrate a dedication to our mission statement -- "To create and maintain an environment that allows every child to develop to his or her fullest potential."
