Crestview Elementary resides in the quaint city of Live Oak, a small suburb of San Antonio, Texas, where it is the heart of the community. Crestview strives for academic excellence, believing that staff, students, parents, and community members all contribute to, and participate in, school culture and student success. The entire school community embraces the philosophy of "All Hands on Deck." The fusing of the entire school community has been a determining factor that has set Crestview apart and brought high levels of success for all student populations. Crestview believes that the success of each student is the responsibility of every stakeholder.
Crestview teachers utilize a variety of instructional methods to address unique learning styles and to maintain authentic student engagement. Students learn from each other without fear of failure and work together to build content knowledge and confidence in academic abilities. Crestview students come with an abundance of unique cultural backgrounds that allow for culturally diverse teachable moments and personal growth. Crestview takes a sincere interest in learning what makes each student unique. Crestview creates opportunities to cultivate the whole child by providing students the opportunity to get involved in extra-curricular activities through fine arts, technology, and an array of after-school clubs and organizations.
