NBRS Badge for Rock Port Elementary School

Rock Port Elementary School - Rock Port, MO

RPE Family supporting Team Molly

RPE Family supporting "Team Molly"

Rock Port Elementary is located in the very northwest corner of Missouri. We are home to 215 students in preschool to sixth grade from three rural communities: Rock Port, Watson, and Langdon. We are blessed with talented and dedicated teachers, a supportive community, and families that help instill the values of hard work, honesty, respect, and faith in our children.

Students enter kindergarten with a strong foundation in academic and social skills through two years of a preschool setting. The preschool program and lower elementary grades have established a strong foundation for the success in the upper elementary grades and beyond. In addition, the Soaring Toward Achievement in Reading Skills (STARS) Program was established to help students below grade level in reading but not low enough for Title I services. The tiered approach of grade level instruction, STARS, and Title I services provide students opportunities to gain the skills they need to grow towards mastery within their grade level. Homework Club and tutoring services after school provide students with a safe and supported learning environment to complete homework and/or work on additional skills through individualized instruction.

At RPE it's all about building positive relationships, collaborating beyond our walls, taking risks and celebrating our successes and failures along the way. Teachers have the creative freedom to do what's best for our students through flexible seating, 1:1 initiatives, inclusion, co-teaching opportunities, Workout Wednesdays, STEM Showcase Nights, AR Wall of Honor, Battle of the Books, Robotics, Discovery classes and much more!
