Learning is joyful at Brewster Elementary!

Learning is joyful at Brewster Elementary!

Brewster is a K-5 elementary school which serves approximately 400 students in the Rochester Community School District. Community partnerships, authentic learning opportunities, and encouraging students to actively lead and grow make Brewster Elementary School an exceptional learning environment for all who enter its doors. With the help of a skilled, caring staff and community, students thrive as learners and leaders in Rochester Community Schools.

Service to others is a key value shared within Brewster Elementary School. Community service projects through Community Service Kids (CSK) and student council groups allow students to turn ideas into actions. At school assemblies and events, fifth-grade Positive Action Leaders (PALS) buddy up with younger students to model positive behavior and form lasting friendships. School spirit is encouraged through monthly gatherings that celebrate a student's positive behavior and service to others. By noticing and naming acts of safety, respect, and kindness, the Brewster school family truly displays Brewster Bulldog pride!

Whether it is learning the art of dance, showcasing student work in the annual art show, celebrating personal achievement goals, or developing the love of theatre through Brewster's Drama Club, students and families are offered a world-class education filled with creativity, joy, challenge, and memories to last a lifetime.
