The dedicated and nurturing staff of St. Joseph Catholic School assists each preschool through eighth grade student in developing the ability to think constructively, reason independently, and to accept the responsibility for independent learning. Teachers partner with parents to provide students with a superior academic program that incorporates the use of Smartboards, individual response systems, and 1:1 student participation using Chromebooks and Google Docs for cooperative learning.

Teachers and parents work together to recognize and address the unique gifts of each student and assist them in reaching their full academic, moral, spiritual, and physical potential. Recognizing these individual differences, the staff employs a variety of teaching modalities to address the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic needs of the students. After assessing students' needs and in collaboration with parents, students may receive one on one instruction from the reading intervention specialist, an academic support teacher, a speech pathologist, or an intervention specialist trained in the Susan Barton method of addressing the needs of students with dyslexia. Students who excel are provided opportunities which challenge them to reach beyond their comfort zone.

St. Joseph School is noted for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere in which human dignity and personal worth are nourished and valued.
