Our mission at Olive B. Loss Elementary School is to inspire a community of learners to strive for excellence. Located in Bear, Delaware, Olive B. Loss School is home to approximately 600 students. Our school is at the forefront of implementing innovative, research-based strategies to ensure our students' success. We challenge our students to think and work beyond expectations, utilizing collaboration, inquiry-based learning, discourse, and community partnerships. Our distinctive partnership with the University of Delaware engineering students encourages learners to practice a design process, requiring them to collaborate and problem solve.
