Silver Spur Elementary staff, parents, and community work as a team to provide ALL students with differentiated opportunities to develop to the highest level of their academic, emotional, and physical potential. Our PTA and Educational Foundation work hand in hand to provide our students with a well-rounded education. While Silver Spur's curriculum is grounded in a rigorous academic program, co-curricular programs also play a vital role in the school's mission of developing self-confident individuals of exemplary character.

At Silver Spur we believe that whether students are studying life science in the field during the week-long Outdoor Science Camp in Malibu, doing hands-on science experiments in the classroom, participating in our outdoor garden program, creating a beautiful work of art during Art at your Fingertips, or playing an active role in a play, they are learning valuable skills they will be able to use their entire lives. This ensures that all of our students are equipped with the knowledge they need to build a life most suited to their individual interests, goals, abilities, and needs. Recognizing the importance of educating the whole child in a safe learning environment is key for us.

At the heart of all of our work is our dedicated team of volunteers who selflessly donate their time to work with our incredible students and support our programs on a daily basis. We truly believe that as a community we achieve more and we know that successful learning happens when parents, staff, and students work together.
