St. Mary's Academy Lower School is a Junior K-5th grade Independent Catholic school, currently serving 210 students from the Denver metro area, established over 150 years ago by the Sisters of Loretto. The Loretto school values of faith, community, justice, and respect are the most influential factors of our success. The student body is comprised of a diverse cultural and ethnic population and includes students from all over the world. Visitors say they can feel the special spirit of this school. We help students achieve success in all areas of their lives. This includes academic success through a rigorous curriculum and emotional success supported with a rich balance of music, art, technology, athletics, world languages, and daily opportunities to play and form friendships.
