Ask any Cardinal about Kent Elementary, and they will proudly state that Kent is the “Best of the Best!” This school motto has been emblazoned on the hearts of students, teachers, and parents since 1989. The tradition of excellence is fueled by pride and tradition, which has become the fabric of the school.

Academic, social, and emotional growth opportunities are woven throughout each student’s educational career at Kent. Enriched academic experiences abound in every prekindergarten through fifth grade classroom. Differentiated instruction based on each student’s needs ensures children attain their personal best in their school experience.

Kent Cardinals are challenged physically and creatively through our at, music, physical education, library, and technology curriculum. Our “Team Cardinal” character education program helps students develop internal excellence and provides opportunities to demonstrate good citizenship. By instilling respect, responsibility, trust, fairness, and pride, Cardinals develop life skills so they may become “leaders for life.”

Family and community oriented activities are integrated into the school’s overall mission and goals. In addition, the PTA and local businesses supply volunteers and financial support to ensure Kent’s success. The Kent community believes that all students can achieve high levels of success in the classroom and beyond.
