T.E. Mabry Middle School - Inman, SC

Today

Today's Learners, Tomorrow's Leaders!

Small town Inman, SC, is home to T. E. Mabry Middle School, serving seventh and eighth graders. Our students bring a wide range of cultures, languages, challenges, and strengths. We provide interdisciplinary, technology-assisted, data-driven instruction that engages students by challenging each to think deeply and respond critically. Hard work is evidenced by student performance as well as our accolades and awards, including International Reading Association Award winner for South Carolina and selection as a National and State School to Watch.

Guiding students towards becoming a South Carolina graduate, our meaningfully designed curriculum focuses on the implementation of the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), innovative technology use, and a balanced approach to literacy. Using a detailed, electronic data wall allows us to transform curriculum into unique, individualized learning experiences. Great strides are used to prepare our students to be college and career ready. The path to higher education is at the forefront of our programs, immersing students in understanding the Career Clusters.

Our district’s progressive technology plan provides access to the latest technologies, transforming learning experiences to reflect 21st Century skills. The district technology department continuously develops initiatives, providing devices and online learning environments that transform traditional classrooms into student-centered learning.

Our key strategy is painting a full picture of each student using a combination of knowing students on a personal level and a deep understanding of past and present data. Attention to detail allows us to fulfill our mission of doing the right thing for every child each and every day.
